"There are not seven wonders of the world in the eyes of a child. There are seven million." - Walt Streightiff

Folktales have an enduring simplicity that appeals to people of all ages and nationalities. Like this collection of whispers I gathered from children around the world – some are simple, others are full of emotion and feeling, and others are filled with humor. All of them, however, have three things in common: they contain truth, wisdom, and magic.

I love traveling, and when I travel I like to assign myself a “project” to help me get involved with the locals. For the past few years my project was to get to know different cultures through their children. I decided to ask the children I encountered a few questions that would give me insight into what they were really thinking and feeling.

This collection of quotes contains the hearts and souls of our future. I believe one is never too old, too young, or too wise to learn from our children.
